Boutique brand Kristoff boasts quite a portfolio, featuring just about every major type of tobacco in the cigar market. The Kristoff Shade Grown Churchill came with a pigtail and a shaggy foot. Hints of hay said hello on the cold draw. Once aflame, I bathed in cream, loads of cream. Then, cinnamon took control, building to apple strudel. The last third shifted to woody notes and coffee bean. Spice in the retrohales increased throughout the smoke, but it never became overpowering. The well-rolled churchill drew well and burned evenly.
