Luxurious orange and gold bands displayed the name of this cigar, La Barba Ricochet. This standard-sized robusto boasted a medium-brown oily wrapper. The cold draw disappointed, revealing only tobacco and earth. But everything changed after the Ricochet took to fire. Heavy black pepper and spice dominated the first third, surrendering to cinnamon and luscious molasses in the second third. The final transition brought dried fruit and brown sugar. The retrohales mimicked the initial blasts of pepper and spice, but by the end, I enjoyed dark chocolate. The excellent construction yielded thick plumes of smoke throughout. Buy a box.
