Wrapped in a gorgeous chocolatey brown leaf, the La Flor Dominicana LFD 1994 Conga Robusto cigar commemorates the brand’s 20th anniversary. The cold draw supplied coffee and earthy notes. Coffee and earth appeared again in the first third. The second third brought tea, hot, not iced. Later, oak exchanged places with the tea, and then back again. The flavors complemented the spice found in my retrohales. The even burn and excellent airflow made for a pleasurable experience. Paired with a cask strength bourbon or hearty red wine, the LFD takes leisure to new heights.
