Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
In honor of the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day holiday, I bring you a candela-wrapped cigar from La Palina, the Fuego Verde Robusto (Green Fire). The light green hue of the wrapper took second stage to the bright green in the cigar band. Some subtle tobacco tinges poked through the cold draw. Lots of wood greeted me in the first third, supported by an undertone of earth. Then, luscious caramel and nougat covered my palate for a dessert-like middle. Earth returned in the final third, with cocoa bouncing in and out to the finish. I was particularly impressed by the quality construction and airflow.
