Cigar reviews – 99 words or less

I’ve long been a fan of coats of arms, symbols of history and lineage. The leaping sheep, tongue out like Michael Jordan, atop a crown, brings me some joy. The Lampert 1675 Edicion AZUL Robusto features Peruvian ligero fillers blended with tobacco from Nicaragua. Tinges of cinnamon rolled off the cold draw. The first third brought lots of cedar, followed by nuts. As the second third began, I tasted wood and tobacco. Tobacco continued in the final third, joining forces with leather for an earthy finish. The flavors lacked depth and complexity.
