Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Cigarmakers go to great lengths to differentiate their products. The Leaf by Oscar Corojo Toro comes encased in a tobacco leaf. Now that’s cool! Some of my peers use the leaf to light the cigar, but I did not dare…this time. A bread-like flavor introduced itself on the cold draw. Coffee opened, bringing in generous helpings of earth for a natural first third. I picked up lots of wood in the midpoint before enjoying a leathery finish. Subtle black peppery retrohales provided touches of excitement in an otherwise pedestrian experience.
