Melbourne, Florida, is home of the Executive Cigar Shop and Lounge, makers of the Marquette 77, an homage to Marquette University’s national championship in that year. After a shallow snip of the pointed cap, I drew in coffee on the cold draw. Coffee persisted into the first half of the cigar until loads of caramel and toffee dominated the flavor profile. The Marquette introduced cocoa notes on the retrohales through the first half and then spice on the last half. The linear flavor profile offered no surprises, and smokers of all types could enjoy this well-constructed cigar.
