The Micallef Experiencia La Crema debuted several years ago with a single vitola, a churchill. Since then, Micallef extended the line with three additional sizes. Featuring tobacco from five countries, the Experiencia La Crema calls upon how Cuban cigars used to taste. I drew in pipe tobacco on the cold draw, followed by light touches of wood through the first third. Earth and coffee married in the second third, trailed by subtle nuances of caramel and nougat. Earth returned, driving to the finish. Overall, the flavors lacked depth and complexity. A good smoke for any smoker.
