The exclusive Montenegro brand is worth the search and the premium. This particular sample enjoyed some extra aging before being procured by Privada Club. The cold draw offered only tobacco notes. Bold flavors of spice and earth opened up post light. Cedar closed out the first third, adding chocolate and coffee along the way. Rich chocolate cake dominated the final third, blending well with the spicy retrohales. Construction was superb, providing near-perfect airflow and smoke production. Pair this cigar with red wine, bourbon, scotch, or port.
