The Montenegro Red Label Corona got its start in Beverly Hills when a few friends decided to create a new luxury cigar brand. Already exclusive, Montenegro still does not offer the corona vitola for retail sale. A quick snip of the cap and a light cold draw revealed the slightest hints of cocoa. The first third brought mounds of chocolate with retrohales of cocoa. Later, coffee appeared along with black pepper on the retrohale. Finally, caramel rounded out the flavor profile.
