Don Pepin Garcia launched the Vegas Cubanas line over fifteen years ago. Just a few years later, his other blends caught fire, casting the Vegas Cubanas to the background. Garcia brought the cigar back at a level equal to his famous labels. After smoking three of these sticks, I bought a box. They’re that good. Cocoa and wood said hello on the cold draw. Wood wrapped in chocolate truffle kicked things off. Some coffee notes moved in briefly before the robusto settled into tobacco and nuts. In the final third, earthy tinges bolstered coffee and cream.
