The shaggy foot on the Nat Cicco Baby Elephant Ears Junior torpedo exposes almost an inch of carefully folded Nicaraguan filler. As the name implies, the folds do resemble a wrinkled elephant ear. On the cold draw, I pulled out a savory cocoa note. After lighting the foot, I tasted tobacco, which made sense since it was only filler. Once the wrapper and binder engaged, dark chocolate emerged. The second half highlighted mocha with retrohales of spice. Then coffee stole the show on both the puffs and retrohales. At $6, this cigar seems like an affordable novelty.
