A consistent top performer. The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Figurado just cannot disappoint. Each cigar is expertly constructed with exceptional tobaccos, delivering distinct flavors and voluminous puffs. To begin, I pulled plum on the cold draw. Woody notes took hold in the first third, parting to make way for loads of dark chocolate. Dry cocoa settled in toward the midpoint, laced with occasional tinges of wood. The final third presented rich dried fruits, specifically apricot, cherry, and apple. This is a go-to cigar for any palate and any occasion.
