You’ve seen the cigars wrapped in tobacco leaves – the Leaf by Oscar. Who’s Oscar? Well, Oscar Valladares spent almost a decade working for Rocky Patel and learning about the cigar industry. Then he founded his own brand in 2012. The Wild Hunter Natural toro granted me a taste of tobacco on the cold draw. Earthy notes paired with oak led off the experience. By the midpoint, coffee took the main stage with wood in the background. The finale presented an array of mixed nuts.
