The Patina Cigar brand was the brainchild of former Mombacho Cigars Sales Manager, Mo Maali. The Patina line features a Connecticut, a Maduro, and a Habano, the one I smoked for this review. A bitter earthy flavor hit my palate on the cold draw. Coffee, wood, and spice mixed in a pleasant and complex introduction. The second third transitioned to rich tobacco and cocoa. Dry cocoa played a solo at the beginning of the final third until the rich tobacco notes came back for a finale. Excellent construction yielded near-perfect combustion and an even burn.
