Cigar reviews – 99 words or less

This third installment of Paul Stulac reviews rounds out the color range, from red to white to black. The Paul Stulac Black Midnight Fire torpedo provided tobacco notes on the cold draw. A truckload of spice greeted me, a flavor that carried on throughout the six-inch cigar. Some meaty notes interjected, followed by dried fruits, mainly plum and raisin. By the midpoint, I sensed rye with faint touches of oak. Earth and spice rounded out the smoke. While the Black Midnight Fire lacked the depth and complexity of its siblings, it still delivered a satisfying experience.
