I’m proud to be American, just like Platinum Nova Cigars. Based in Palm Beach, Florida, Platinum Nova is cranking out high-quality sticks that will make you proud of your American heritage, too. My torpedo looked beautiful, offering up bittersweet chocolate on the cold draw. Wood and cedar greeted me, followed by subtle notes of raisin. The second third hit me with chocolate and what I can only describe as a joyful spicy medley. Yum! Earth and a wee hint of licorice bowed in the final third before the rich chocolate finish. Construction and airflow were excellent.
