Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
The Quesada family spent decades as tobacco brokers before manufacturing their first cigars in 1974, hence the namesake for the Quesada 1974 Lancero. Once I clipped the cap, I drew in earth and tobacco. Once aflame, first impressions of cedar hit my palette. Not long after, I tasted almonds. The halfway mark brought hints of coffee, the flavor that took me to the finish line. Spicy retrohales mixed well with the flavors I experienced. A canoe developed and required a touch-up. The lancero also went out at one point. Overall, I was underwhelmed, left desiring more.
