The rebirth of Ramon Allones by AJ Fernandez resulted in a classic smoking experience. The torpedo in this review comes from the first wave of sticks to hit the market. Draped in a dark brown wrapper and two bands, the Ramon Allones looks like a high-end cigar. The cold draw tasted of baking cocoa, dry and chalky. But once ablaze, I savored loads of chocolate, chocolate truffle, and molasses. These flavors mingled perfectly, keeping me engaged and wanting more. Brown sugar and coffee notes poured through my retrohales. An even burn and near-perfect combustion made for an unforgettable encounter.
