Vintage cigar bands are cool, if you can find them. Sam Leccia of Stogiebird Cigars uncovered millions of bands printed in the first half of the twentieth century. The Red Tips corona from Vintage Fresh blends the vintage bands with fresh new blends. I pulled notes of leather on the cold draw. Wood debuted in the first third, followed by an expression of dark roasted coffee. Earth took hold around the midpoint, falling away to leave a woody finish. I found this rustic cigar to be simple and straightforward, good enough for any palate.
