Vintage Rock-a-feller Cigar Group is a boutique brand that creates Nicaraguan and Dominican masterpieces. Run by a former Wall Street trader, the company means business. The Gold Series Box-pressed Toro imparted earthy notes on the cold draw. Earth appeared again after lighting, fading into cacao at the end of the first third. Rich flavors of black cherry and dark chocolate took over, lasting until the oaky final inch. Spicy retrohales kept the flavors balanced. If the price were half of the retail MSRP, I would rate the Rock-a-feller a strong buy.
