Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Some highly acclaimed brands spin their magic into new bargain blens better than others. This is the case with the Rocky Patel American Market Selection. Wearing an Ecuadoran Connecticut Shade wrapper, it looks good, as does the simple black and gold band. Earthy notes emerged on the cold draw. The post-light brought honey, trailed by cream. Then, fresh-baked bread presented itself. Finally, coffee took hold at the midpoint and drove me home. I tasted subtle spices and cedar in the retrohales. A bargain $5 cigar, this one should be in every humidor.
