The tobacco in Rocky Patel’s 1990 Vintage cigar is not twenty-one years old. The line debuted over fifteen years old to critical acclaim, garnering several 90+ point scores from reputable sources. The distinct flavor of tea leaves came through the cold draw. Spice and nuts exploded on my palate. Once the spice relaxed, I tasted cedar, followed by baking spices. The final third brought sweet cola hints and earthy notes, interspersed with cedar. Sadly, this robusto could not keep a straight burning edge, suffering from two major canoes.
