Small ring gauges only. Noel Rojas lives by this mantra. His cigars may be short or long, but either way, they’re on the skinny side. The Rojas Peruvian Gold features Peruvian tobacco in the filler, as well as an undisclosed binder. After the cut, I drew in the sweetness of Hawaiian bread. My flame gave life to salted peanuts smothered in caramel. By the end of the first third, the peanuts had faded, leaving tons of luscious caramel. The caramel waned near the midpoint, allowing oaky notes to rush in. Cold-brewed coffee wrapped a satisfying conclusion.
