I love the unexpected. The RoMa Craft CroMagnon Aquitaine Anthropology carried a reputation as a full-bodied cigar, but this sample switched gears. On the lighter side of medium, this cigar packed excellent flavors in a modest package. I tasted sourdough bread on the cold draw. Coffee opened, trailed by subtle hints of cocoa. The second third dropped earthy notes mixed with winter spices. A sweetness took over in the final third, tasting of caramel macchiato. Some combustion issues aside, the Aquitaine Anthropology proved an easy smoke with wonderful flavors.
