A popular new smoke, the Romeo 505 Nicaragua Robusto wears a beautiful reddish-brown wrapper. Rich, velvety dark chocolate notes rule the cold draw. The 505 welcomed me with a complex flavor profile full of dark chocolate, fudge, coffee, and caramel in the first half of this cigar. Retrohales brought forth baking spices and a pepper medley. Walnuts, chocolate, and spice in the second half reminded me of holiday baking with mom. The Romeo produced ample amounts of smoke, and it burned true. Approaching $10, this stick is worth it. Buy two and keep one in the humidor for later.
