San Jeronimo Ecuador Habano Maduro Torpedo
The red satin band at the foot and the colorful band make the San Jeronimo Ecuador Habano Maduro appear high class. Closer inspection indicates rugged construction and a rough wrapper. After a quick snip, I tasted earthy and woody notes on the cold draw. Post-light, I picked up mocha in the first third, followed up by brown sugar and milk chocolate in the last two thirds. Delicate spices and black pepper tricked through on the retrohales. The burn stayed straight, requiring no touch-ups. Overall, the San Jeronimo delivered satisfying flavors during a relaxing experience.
