Cigar reviews – 99 words or less

In the premium cigar business, even the most prestigious brands sell a value-priced line. This includes Davidoff. And I’m not talking about Camacho, rather the lesser-known Scorpion by Camacho selections. These moderately priced sticks wear striking bands like their brothers, but they cost much less. I tasted tobacco on the cold draw. The first third delivered bread and dough, along with some subtle spices. Cream dominated the middle third, displaced by lots of wood in the finale. Simple and understated describe the Scorpion, a solid smoke for friends or a round of golf.
