The Serino Royale Maduro XX 30th Anniversary Toro sports a rich dark brown wrapper and a second cigar band at the foot. The cigar felt heavy in hand and tight between the fingers. Initial impressions of tobacco and coffee appeared on the tight cold draw. Coffee showed itself in the first third before fading into dark chocolate. Later, I tasted double chocolate chip cookie, a bit dry but sweet. The final third brought a dose of molasses. Retrohales started as baking spice but transitioned to a pleasant mixture of cocoa and black pepper.
