Putting the retailer and customer first are Sindicato’s primary goals. Its site uses the word trust not as a gimmick but as a promise. The Sindicato Artista Toro made it to shelves in March 2022 after lengthy pandemic-related delays. A faint note of cocoa passed on the cold draw. I was met with chocolate croissant, creamy and buttery, in the first half inch. Chocolate cream atop a whisp of wood gained traction and carried through the midpoint. The wood matured first into oak, then cedar, underpinning a continuum of chocolate. Finally, coffee and earth provided a rustic finish.
