Sinistro is a boutique cigar company with a catchy cigar name and striking cigar bands. I’ve rated a few Sinistro cigars, but they haven’t lived up to the hype…until now. They hit a home run with the Honchos toro, distributed exclusively by Privada Cigar Club. Tobacco aromas dripped through the cold draw. Rich woody flavors launched out of the first third, mingling with earthy notes. By the midpoint, I tasted leather and orange peel, reminiscent of an old English cigar lounge. Those flavors held true until the end when wood joined for a satisfying and complex finish.
