Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Simple and elegant. I’m talking about the cigar band. Black smoking jacket lapels on a cardinal red band stand out against the light brown Brazilian Cubra leaf Hendrik Kelner Jr. selected to wrap the Imperial. The cold draw presented some bitterness along with wood. The bitterness continued, in the form of coffee, after lighting. The coffee waned as chocolate rushed in, bringing a wee hint of mint. I enjoyed these flavors until the midpoint when cedar took hold. Dough and salt displaced the cedar as the second third closed. Earth appeared in the final few puffs, confusing my palette.
