Do you ever get a little nervous lighting the tapered end of a perfecto cigar? I do. Thankfully, the Southern Draw Jacob’s Ladder Brimstone Oblivion perfecto lit, dare I say it, perfectly. In fact, the construction of this example was perfect. After an angled cut on the head, earthy notes presented themselves in the cold draw. The distinct taste of chicory greeted me, succeeded by earth and spices. I picked up the taste of wood around the midpoint. Miniature chocolate bursts interrupted the wood every few puffs. It was a delightful and flavorful long finish.
