Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
When a man loves a woman, he honors her. That’s exactly what Robert Hold, co-owner of Southern Draw Cigars, did with the Rose of Sharon, a tribute to his lovely wife of 24 years. The pink and gold band looks exquisite adorning the light tan Connecticut wrapper. Only tobacco notes came from the cold draw. A whole heap of black pepper walloped me in the first third. Woody notes dropped in, followed by coffee and cream. A delicious profile of toffee ramped up after the midpoint and held steady until leather wrapped everything up.
