Tony Barrios founded Stallone Cigars in 2014. When he’s not blending cigars, he can be found riding horses – a real-life cowboy. The Stallone Castano San Andres toro presented coffee on the cold draw. I pulled notes of mocha, followed by earth in the first third. The distinct flavor of almonds pushed its way in for a tasty second third. Spicy rye and wood created a unique finish to a rustic and flavorful experience. Peppery retrohales started strong but waned. Two canoes needed touching up, though airflow remained consistent from start to finish.
