While I’m not a fan of flavor-tipped cigars, I opened my mind to the Tatascan Connecticut Corona by JRE Tobacco. The cold draw tasted of sweet tea, fitting given the hot summer weather. Consistent notes of cream and honey met me at the beginning and carried all the way to the end. I picked up some oak sporadically in the second and final thirds. The oak also showed itself on the retrohales, occasionally mingling with nuances of spice. The Tatascan’s construction offered an open draw resulting in giant plumes of smoke. The sweet tip disappeared after the first inch.
