Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Cigar smokers tend to brag a bit about the rare cigars they own or have smoked. Rare, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. The Tatuaje Escasos Unicos torpedo is rare – crafted in Miami in small batches. Tasty tinges of nutmeg flowed out of the cold draw. Rich leathery notes bowed at the start, followed by earth and wood. The Escasos settled into cocoa by the second third, holding steady until wood joined at the conclusion. I enjoyed the depth of flavors, but I wanted complexity. Perhaps some extra aging would bring out its best.
