Happy Halloween week! Back in 2008, Pete Johnson released The Frank as Tatuaje’s inaugural Monster Series. The Frank Redux 1 marks the return of the giant, menacing abomination in the form of a beautiful double corona. The closed foot limited the cold draw to tobacco. Woody notes warmly welcomed me for the first inch. Then, creamy hot cocoa helped me settle in for the long haul. Some subtle spices pulled alongside the cocoa just before the midpoint. Next, I tasted the richness earth and wood, quite satisfying. The final third introduced cocoa to wood, mingling for a fantastic finish.
