Veritas Cigars is a relative newcomer to the industry, with roots tracing back to 2014. Its webpage describes access to exclusive tobacco and the employ of skilled torcedores. Regardless, the Veritas 3 Blends features three wrappers, a Habano, maduro, and Connecticut. Some cedary notes fell out of the cold draw. Lots of leather greeted me in the initial puffs, trailed by wood. Cedar resurfaced near the midpoint, holding serve until earth came on for the final third. I was disappointed with the lack of depth, but maybe the three wrappers didn’t complement each other.
