Villiger launched the Corrida line in Europe in 2017. The label succeeded, as it came stateside in 2020. Corrida, Spanish for bullfighting, features four extensions, each named for a different county. The Corrida Honduras puro tasted of pipe tobacco and leather on the cold draw. A neutral tobacco flavor dominated the first third, leaving me less than impressed. But baking spice came on strong, followed by cinnamon roll. Then, I tasted bread before the profile moved to herbal tea in the final third. Notes of wood and earth rounded out the finish.
