The Wynwood Hills Deranged sported a unique look, a printed tissue paper sheath from the band to the foot. The toothy wrapper felt dry, but no cracks developed during the experience. Uncomplicated tobacco notes flowed through the cold draw. The name Deranged failed to describe the flavor profile or any other characteristic of the cigar. I tasted lots of hay and tobacco in the first third, followed by tea and nuts in the remaining two-thirds. Only tobacco and cedar debuted in my retrohales. The firm draw allowed plenty of smoke to pass through. This mild-medium smoke lacks refinement.
